A fabulous day at Badminton
We were thrilled to spend the day at the stunning Badminton Estate recently, as we brought our fabulous eggs to thousands of visitors at this year’s Badminton Horse Trials.
Established in 1949, it is one of the most significant equestrian events in the UK calendar and it was a joy to see the return of the Horse Trials after its postponement over the past two years.
Visitors of all ages enjoyed fun and frolics at our glorious stand, including an ostrich egg shy and egg and spoon race. Our masterful catering team were on hand to provide mouth-watering brunches and lunches, from delicate, fried quail eggs and flavoursome all-day breakfast pots to our iconic, golden Scotch eggs.
Perhaps the highlight of the weekend was watching the incredible competitors and their horses leap over our giant Clarence Court egg box fence, to the delight of spectators.
We’d like to thank all those who paid a visit to our exhibition stand, and to congratulate the overall champion of this year’s Badminton Horse Trials, Laura Collett, along with every other competitor, who made the event such an exciting spectacle. A cracking time was had by all!
